Sheep and goat sales take place the second Thursday of every month at 4 p.m.
We begin receiving sheep and goats at 9 a.m. day of sale until sale time. All Sheep & All Goats must be scrapie-tagged prior to sale or a $2.00 per tag fee will be incurred. You may obtain tags by calling 1-866-USDA TAG.

Compared to last month, slaughter lambs weighing over 90# on a light test sold with good demand trading 7.00-10.00 higher, with non-traditional weights selling with a lower undertone. Feeder lambs weighing 40-65# sold 10.00-20.00 lower than last month with slaughter ewes steady. Market kid goats sold sharply lower selling 45.00-50.00 lower … losing all of last month’s gains. Supply included 40% sheep and 60% goats. The sheep supply included near 25% slaughter lambs, 40% feeder lambs, and near 25% slaughter ewes with the balance slaughter bucks and replacement ewes. Prices quoted per cwt unless otherwise noted.

Slaughter Lambs: Choice, few Prime 2-3 few 90-106# 120.00-127.50. Non-traditional weights pkg 53# hair-X 123.00, 68-83# 115.00-127.50, few hair-X 105.00-110.00.
