Sheep and Goat Auction Report for 01-12-12 Receipts: 1053 Last Month: 1715 Last Year: 298 Compared to last month, slaughter lambs on a light test sold 7.00-10.00 higher, with feeder lambs not well tested and slaughter ewes selling with a higher undertone on a light test. Kid goats weighing 50-80# sold mostly 20.00-30.00 higher on active trading with slaughter nannies and billies selling from 10.00-20.00 higher. Supply included near 18% sheep and 82% goats. The sheep supply included near 65% slaughter lambs and 35% replacement and slaughter ewes. Prices quoted per cwt unless otherwise noted. NOTE: LIVESTOCK WILL NOT BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO 9:00 A.M.
